bar STOOLs

These three stools were made to fit under a breakfast bar.  The legs were made by cutting, and then welding, several lengths of box-section steel.  The seats were each made from two pieces of scrap pine and, to provide an extra feature, a short length of plywood was turned on its side and clamped in between the pine.  The seat and legs were then screwed together and the wood was finished with a fine grit sandpaper and a clear oil.
